An occasion to be remembered!

Gracie contacted us over a year ago about us photographing her special day. Little did we know just how incredibly special their day would be!

We met up with Gracie early that morning as she was getting ready for the ceremony. You couldn’t even tell she was nervous about all the events to come. She was making everyone laugh in her hotel room, as the make-up artist put on her make-up. She had some great stories to share about her adventurous travels from her base where she is located in Germany to Atlanta Georgia where she would be marrying the love of her life. We shot their engagement session over Christmas break, and they were a blast! So we knew that they would be fun and fearless when it came to taking photos after their ceremony.

A weekend at Pineloa Farms

This past weekend was a beautiful weekend, and perfect for a very special day. Sonia and Jon met with me almost a year ago. They were a super nice couple, and you could tell right away that they were just madly in love with each other. They are both actually from Atlanta but decided to hold their ceremony and reception in the Fort Valley Area instead. Their ceremony was held at the local Catholic church. The ceremony was performed by a close friend of theirs that they had flown in from New York. The reception was held at one of our favorite venues, Pienola Farms. Sonia and Jon went all out for their big day making sure not one small detail was left out. They even purchased fans and bug wipes for their guests!

We had a great time with Sonia and Jon and also enjoed getting to know a lot of their closest friends and family. Thank you ALL for making us feel like family. Here is a sneak peak at just a few of our favorite shots. Many more to come later this week!

Hey Amanda and Jared!
First of all, you two are incredible! I cannot express how thankful and happy I am with our wedding photos! From the second you got there, to the last couple minutes before you left, you were beyond helpful! You both are so sweet! I felt like I just had a couple of great friends taking our pictures! You had such awesome ideas and gladly took the couple I requested! I am so excited for all the things God has for your business and life! He is going to bless you immensely! I am so happy I had the pleasure of having you a part of our big day. And better yet, my favorite part of the whole day. You made it just perfect! Thank you both SO much for everything and I will continue to refer to you to all the newly married couples! I hope I can travel back home whenever we need family photo’s done!

What a beautiful weekend it was to get married! We spent Saturday with Kristen and Nick for their special day. It was a beautiful ceremony located in the backyard at Kristen’s parent’s house, with the reception that followed right afterwards. We had a great time taking photos, sharing some laughs, and had an interesting end to the evening with keys being locked in “someones” car…

Anyways, thank you so much to Kristen and Nick. You guys are an amazing couple, and I am so glad we were able to share you big day! Here is our favorite shot!

I love getting beautiful emails from our brides…. Just wanted to pass along a sweet email I just received from Mrs. Driggers whose wedding we photographed on Sept 20th of 2008….

The pictures were amazing!! You two are so great at what you do!! We were so happy with them! My mom got teary eyed again looking at them earlier! It’s going to be hard to decide what to pick. What an amazing response!!

I just want to say WOW! We have had such an amazing, positive, and rewarding response from everyone on the new website. Jared, my husband, worked super hard on the site, so I am glad to get it up and going with few errors! Thank you to EVERYONE who has emailed us. I was up past 11 last night answering emails and loved every second of it.

Thank you to everyone for getting the word out about the new website, the numbers from yesterday and today are mind blowing!! I am just so happy to have such great bride and grooms, as well as friends who have been so supportive to Jared and I. You all have taken care of us so much that we hope we are able to do the same for you in return…

Mr. and Mrs. Donaldson

October 4th, what a day to remember! As a photographer this was the most requested day EVER I have had by brides, right along with 7/7/07…
But, I am so happy that we were able to spend our day with Shelley and Derek. Their ceremony was a beautiful park located in downtown Macon, which was then followed by their reception located at the Cox Capitol Theater in Macon. The live Band at the reception kept the party going, and the pasta bar catered by the Theater was a huge hit!
Thanks again to Shelley and Derek for letting us be a part of your special day, we had a blast!

What a night! Jared and I had such a great time with Katrina and Wayne to help celebrate their Big Day. The ceremony was held at a tiny church in Bonaire with the reception that soon followed was located on base. The reception was the best one we have been to in a while. The DJ’s from Douglas Entertainment had people doing all sorts of fun dances, they even got the crowd to sing a song to the new bride and groom! Anyways, we had a great time with everyone and we are so grateful to be part of such a such a special day in someone’s life. Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome!

Rachel and Jeremy E-Session

We met up with Rachel and Jeremy Early this morning so we could get some photos taken for their engagement session. We did what we call drive-by shots, where we would just drive around downtown and when we saw a cool spot we would pull over, shoot a few shots, and jump back in the car. It was a blast. We had a really great time walking down some alley ways, and the steps of some old buildings. They were even able to give us some great advice on raising our 14 month old baby! Happy New Year!

Happy New Years to Everyone! I cant help but smile when I think how GREAT 2008 was. We made so many new and amazing friends, and captured more special moments and memories than I can even begin to count! 2008 was most certainly our best year yet and it keeps getting better thanks to all of you!

Project 365

2009 Has already proved to be an amazing year for us here at Lindley’s Photography. We have just recently opened up our studio, which we are so excited about, and we have also added Senior Photos and Family Photos to our list of services we offer.

My Bridal Party

Last weekend we hosted our first ever Bridal Party at the studio. Despite the rain we had a blast! We had some delicious wedding cake made for us by Rebecca’s Creations, great music by Douglas Productions, bridal look consultations by the amazing Stephanie DeFoe and her assistant Heather, a beautiful centerpiece made by Yesterday’s and Tomorrow’s florists, goodies for our Goodie bags from Amber Blurton at The Hilton Garden Inn, Stewart’s Bridal and Tuxedo, Edge Fitness, and more!

I will be blogging ever day this week on each of our vendors that participated in our Bridal Show starting tomorrow.

Tomorrow we will feature Hilton Garden Inn located here in Warner Robins! Keep your eyes peeled for that.

Today we will be featuring one of our favorite local DJ’s! Douglas entertainment is owned and operated by Travis Douglas and Deidre Ward. They are sure to keep your event a great time with their huge variety of music, crowd involvement, and their goal to make your day as special as they can.

As a Wedding Photographer, it is important for us to work with DJ’s that work well with photographers. From the moment we show up to an event DJ’d by Douglas productions we are given a schedule of the event’s time line, and if anything changes they let us know right away. Macon’s Best of the Best

Good morning to all of our faithful Blog Readers! It was a busy weekend for us, and we don’t think its going to stop anytime soon! We had 3 AMAZING weddings over the weekend, 1 on Thursday, 1 on Friday, and 1 on Saturday, and each of them were special in their own way. Congrats to C and J

Our weekend was FULL of weddings, traveling, and engagement sessions. We had such a great time! Today I am proud to post some photos from our Friday wedding which took place at Lake Blackshear. C and J had a beautiful ceremony with the beautiful lake right behind them. Their catering was amazing, and the reception was full of Sorority Girls, and Fraternity Guys who were ready to party the night away.

Congrats B and N!

A and J E-Session

Congrats H and B

This past Saturday was an absolutely perfect and beautiful day to get married. We wanted to say a special congrats to the newlyweds H and B. They had a stunning ceremony with no detail left untouched. The girls were so sweet, and each had beautiful shoes to match the atmosphere of the wedding perfectly. The old Ford they had there made a great addition to their ceremony and we even got some awesome shots by it.

Prom 2009

This is our first year shooting Prom photos, and I have to admit it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. It wasn’t long ago I was dressed up for my Senior Prom, so it brought back some great memories. It’s almost that time of year again! 2010 Seniors are getting ready for their final year in high school, and they are beginning their search for the photographer who would be perfect to capture the perfect image to express exactly who they are. A huge congrats to E and M for a beautiful wedding! Their ceremony was held at a beautiful church just off Zebulon Road, immediately followed by a amazingly decorated Blacksmith shop in Downtown Macon for their reception. The food was catered by Alexa Hunt, and was delish! Thanks Emily and Matt for asking us to be a part of your special day. I am so blessed to have an amazing photographer as a husband! A and W celebrating their special day

This weekend was a great weekend to get married. It wasn’t to hot, it wasn’t to cold, and the rain was nice enough to give us a few breaks during the busy weekend to sneak in a couple special shots. Saturday morning started off early with a beautiful and intimate ceremony held for 2 very special people. Although I wasn’t able to shoot the entire wedding, our talented photographer Mandalyn took over and was able to get some great, unique, and classic shots. What a busy weekend it was for us! But not quite as busy as this next few weeks is going to be for this couple. They are going to be traveling across the country to begin their life as a married couple in Alaska!

Their whole day was beautifully planned right down to the diamond decorations on the tables. We had a great time with the couple trying to fight the rain, and we were lucky enough at the very end of the day to get a few minutes of sunshine to get those awesome shots we had all wanted to get.

Chaley’s Senior Session

It’s that time of the year for 2010 High School Seniors to start having their Senior Photos Done.

Here at LP we have designed specific marketing materials, great deals, and a Street Team just for this year’s Seniors. We will be choosing up to 2 Girls, and 2 Boys from each local High School to be a part of LP’s Senior Street Team. These lucky people who become part of our street team recieve a free Senior Session, a stack of photos with their info and ours to hand out to their friend, and much more.

Our first Senior to become part of LP’s Street Team is Houston County High Senior Chaley. Congrats to Chaley! We had an amazing time shooting with her yesterday morning, and I am sure you will see that in the photos.

A Princess and her Prince

We wanted to say congrats to Jennifer and Michael on their absolutely beautiful wedding day! Their day was fit for a Royal event from sun up till sun down. Jennifer looked like a princess in her georgeous dress, and Michael looked handsome in his tux. Their ceremony was held at GMC, and was the perfect backdrop from their big day. Simple and Sweet

It was quite the busy weekend for Jared and I. We were lucky enough to help capture the memories of Chelsea and Josh’s wedding Friday night in Sandersville Georgia. The ceremony was held in a small church just off a dirt road, and the reception was held at a beautiful reception site just a few miles away. Chelsea and her Husband were so much fun to take photos with. We had them rolling in the grass and swinging on swings, and they loved every minute of it. I want to wish them the best of luck on everything they are about to experience, and I hope to come visit you guys in Hawaii soon!

Congrats to Amanda and Jeff

It was a busy weekend for us, but we loved every minute of it! We met with Amanda and Jeff almost a year ago when they started to plan their big day. They both seemed so in love, that we just knew their wedding would be perfect, and it was! Amanda looked stunning in her dress, and Jeff looked very Handsome in his tux. We had a great time with the girls taking photos, and we appreciate them braving the heat so we could get some great shots. The guys were also great sports, and even came to the wedding prepared with their sunglasses to use for a funny photo. Their reception at the Armory Ballroom was beautiful, and packed with friends and family who had an awesome time dancing the night away to some great music. Thanks Amanda and Jeff! We hope you guys have a great time in Hawaii!
